Over coming years of solitude, self-esteem, and just plain old stubborn pride they have one hell of a battle. Not only will they have to deal with the challenges of being fated mates of different breeds, someone wants her. . . bad. Loved all of the action and interplay with these two and of course the supporting cast who are vital to the story. This is an emotional one and it got me to the core. The pain of rejection and emotional baggage are felt. The torment of separation is real. This author makes you feel each emotion and every tear. The confusion for each of them as they navigate unknown territory and enemies. It’s a wild ride from start to finish.

About the author

J.L. Sheppard was born and raised in South Florida where she still lives with her husband and sons.

As a child, her greatest aspiration was to become a writer. She read often, kept a journal, and wrote countless poems. She attended Florida International University and graduated in 2008 with a Bachelors in Communications. During her senior year, she interned at NBC Miami, WTVJ. Following the internship, she was hired and worked in the News Department for three years.

It wasn’t until 2011 that she set her heart and mind into writing her first completed novel, Demon King’s Desire, which was first published in January 2013.
