In this book, we will see how under three-fold insecurities (political, social and economic) in Iran people’s relation follows master-servant patterns. In such a condition, everyone lives in fear which it’s indispensable result is hypocrisy. Hypocrisy in turn leads to mistrust which comes with lots of other characteristics such as nepotism, exploitation, bribery, fraud, profiteering, demoralization, graft, etc. These characteristics shows that our culture is trapped in a vicious circle and it needs to be broken.
Tahere Sheykholeslam was born in Iran in 1947. She got her master degree in Science from University of Tehran and taught in different educational sectors for 25 years. She came to Australia on 1992 and lives there since then. During her staying in Australia she focussed on the differences between the two cultures of Iran and Australia and wrote two books and 22 articles. She has got her Master’s degree in psychotherapy and counselling and is working with migrants who are suffering from cultural clashes.
