one with a pain-filled past. Katie must decide if she'll continue her
own family’s messed up legacy or embrace a new beginning in this place
called In Between.

This touching story of a teenage girl in the foster system finding herself thrust into another world she's never wanted wormed its way into my heart and left me rooting for Katie, Millie, and James to learn how to be a family. After both sides having suffered their own losses, poor decisions, and bad luck, it really is possible for genuine and unconditional love to break through. I'm so happy I downloaded this on a whim!

What a wonderful character! In a deliciously awkward setting. I wasn't expecting a Godly spin to it and found it refreshingly accurate. Totally love Katie's internal dialogue! This book had me in stitches and tears - I wish I'd had a heads-up to avoid reading in public 😉 So yeah, pretty awesome.

I never write reviews - feels like a waste of time but since I have a minute away from writing my name in the dust, I have to put in my two cents worth. Jenny B. Jones develops character traits that make me want to sit down at the Burger Barn and people watch! They come to life and jump off the page. I literally lol more times than I can count and would have gladly read several more chapters in this book. Well done, big yellow happy face sticker, or even a place on the fridge!
