KILLER CONVERGENCE - A new author to me. Although this book is part of a series, it did not matter that I did not read the previous books. There were slight mentions of previous happenings. The characters are realistic, the story lines interesting and it was easy to be immersed in the intrigue. Source: The author. 4*

Far from the average murder mystery! Doctor Matthew Paine and Detective Warren Danbury put their unique friendship to the test as they face something far bigger than just any suspicious murder-suicide in this must-read thriller. Killer Convergence is the seventh book of the Matthew Paine series, but I can fully support this can be greatly enjoyed as a stand alone book as well. If you enjoy fast paced mysteries, loyal friendships, and immersive descriptions, this one is for you!

This book left me guessing until the end. Filled with likable characters, a strong mystery, and interesting plot twists, I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen next. Killer Convergence follows Forbidden Relics in the Matthew Paine Series, but it reads well as a stand-alone novel. The story follows Detective Danbury's dangerous encounters as he searches for information about his parents. If you like surprising, danger-filled, heart-warming mysteries, you will like this book.

About the author

Lee Clark is a coffeeholic and dark chocoholic who resides in North Carolina with spouse, two mostly grown children who are in and out, and a dwindled petting zoo of geriatric dogs and cats.

A North Carolina native, Clark is from Raleigh, with family roots in Virginia. Clark attended Campbell University, obtained a degree in journalism from East Carolina University, and then obtained a master’s in technical communication from North Carolina State University.

After working in the software technology industry for over twenty years, creating and building highly technical user information for software developers, Clark decided it was time to pursue a true passion: fiction writing.

Matthew Paine is a fictional character, though inspired by two very important men in the author’s life, brother Sean and son Will. Both will see characteristics of themselves in the character and identify with some of Matthew’s struggles.
