Although fiction, the novel succeeds in capturing a glimpse into the exciting, tumultuous, and unpredictable life of the Fitzgerald's. Told largely from the viewpoint of Zelda, Fowler offers insight into her role as muse to her talented yet troubled husband, as well as a progressive, free thinking, determined woman in her own right. The novel successfully portrays the relationship of two creative people fueled by each others passion and spirit, only to be destroyed by it in the end.

started off a little slow, sometimes it was hard to keep track of the various characters. Overall a good read that I highly recommend.

This book was fascinating. I couldn't put it down! You are right in the thick of Zelda and Scott and you don't want to miss a minute. A great read.
