About the author

Susan’s love of stories began before she could read or write. Her earliest childhood memories are of a make believe game she played with her sister, creating and telling an epic story inspired by a picture chosen at random from a National Geographic magazine. Susan spent her summers reading and writing sometimes serious, sometimes humorous works of fiction, imagining the worlds beyond her bedroom walls. Susan is an avid reader of literature, especially science fiction and fantasy. She loves to bring new worlds and fantasy adventures to young adults and inspire them to join her on her make believe journeys. You can find Susan at, on twitter @susandfaw or on Facebook at

“But what are we without dreams?”

A new grand vicar, known as the usurper, has taken over the keep and is using its knowledge to reinforce his hold on power.

Despite their good intentions, the seekers find themselves leading an army, and for the first time in a millennium, their world experiences the horror of war.

But the keepmasters’ science is no match for the dreamers, leaving Orah and Nathaniel their cruelest choice—face bloody defeat and the death of their enlightenment, or use the genius of the dreamers to tread the slippery slope back to the darkness.

But her plans are cut brutally short when Agros send in troops to lay waste to the capital. “If you like action, and science fiction then you’ll appreciate one of the first books EVER that gives you high powered adrenalin with chilling revelations of utter suspense!”

Do you enjoy reading books that are different, have a strong storyline with offbeat characters, and quirky language? Then you will love Whisper Gatherers. It is a great addition to the dystopian/Sci-fi tradition of authors such as Suzanne Collins, Veronica Roth, Bella Forest, Patrick Ness, Ursula K. Le Guin and Margaret Atwood.
