I loved this book and I am addicted to all of Marquita's books! They have me laughing out loud and I feel connected to the ladies who speak their minds and the men who understand them. Originally the character April rubbed me the wrong way, but this novella showed the other side of the coin and Finn understands her on a deeper level. Not to mention the steamy, swoon - worthy bedroom scenes and all of the southern "Bless your hearts" you can handle!

I really enjoyed this story and enjoyed the chemistry between Carter and Melanie. Carter came off as a hot and irresistible man any woman would have a crush on. Melanie gave off the aura of being beautiful, sweet and vulnerable. They fit perfectly and and I couldn't help rooting for them! I would give anything to have the kind of passionate love they have for one another.

I really did like this book its a quick read the story and plot is kinda of weak but the way its written and the relationship the two shared and developed more then made up for it
