Choosing powerful words is very crucial because that will make one’s speech and writing more impactful. This book ‘simple Vocabulary for Skillful Communication’, as the title suggests, will show a path to expand one’s vocabulary for successful communication.

About the author

Dr. Swathi Chikkala is working as Assistant Professor of English, GITAM Deemed to be University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. She is also sharing the responsibilities as Convenor, ELTAI, Visakhapatnam. She received her Doctoral degree from Andhra University; MPhil, and MA from Stella Maris College, Chennai. She has more than a decade of experience in teaching and research and is currently guiding Ph.D. scholars. She was awarded the coveted English Language Teachers Research Partnership (ELTReP) award by The British Council, India, in 2015. As a Convener, she organised a number of workshops and webinars. As a Resource Person, she has been invited on several occasions by Andhra Pradesh Human Resource Development, to train state government recruits on English Language, communication skills, and soft skills. She is Member, Editorial/Review Board of internationally reputed journals.

Dr. C. Raghavendra, a staunch lover of literature, qualified UGC NET, APSET and received Ph.D. from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. He has one and half decades of experience in teaching English. He also worked with TCS ion as Subject Expert (SME). Besides being editorial board member to the international journal ‘English Language, Literature & Culture’ (ELLC), he has authored seven books. At present, he is working with GITAM University, Visakhapatnam, A.P. He is also shouldering responsibilities as the President, English Language Teachers’ Association of India (ELTAI), Visakhapatnam Chapter.
