I really enjoyed this book and I laughed out loud which is a good sign. I found it empowering as a woman of a certain age, 47, and proud of it, lots of my friends never got this old and I want to live every breath I am given. I know from experience that older women are beautiful lovers who sometimes need a younger man to keep up with when older men don't have the stamina. Thank you for making me laugh in a tough time. Oof! That was one heck of an emotional roller-coaster ride. Whether they were fighting or… making up, the sparks were always flying between Casey and Alexa. It hurt my heart to see how much the age difference bothered Alexa, especially when Casey was trying to so hard to show her it didn’t matter. But I can understand it too. The lead up to the ending had me darned near bawling my eyes out as Casey was forced to confront emotional issues none of us saw coming. All in all, I’ve started falling in love with this crazy “family” and I can’t wait to read more.

As an avid reader for most of my life, it is refreshing to find an author who still believes in writing real romance novels. To many authors today use crude wording for their "explisit" sexual scenes. This author sets the scenes an fallows thru beautifully. Thank you.
