I've always enjoyed military romance and Sara is starting a brand new series with this one. Lucia wants to take a chance in Vegas and have a random hook up. She's worked really hard to feel better about herself and decided a wild night fulfilling her fantasies was the best way to help make that happen. She had no idea her sister asked Cade to keep an eye out for her and not let her do anything crazy. Cade takes one look at Lucia and prayed she was the one he was supposed to watch out for. He decided he was going to keep her closer than Natalie asked, but couldn't take the chance to pass up a night with Lucia. Of course eventually Lucia finds out the truth and heads back home. Overall I really enjoyed this book. There were some things that I felt could have been explored a little further. Lucia's weight loss and scars seemed to have a huge impact on her life but after the first few chapters they really weren't brought up again in detail. I feel like she might have been a little more cognizant of those two things in particular throughout the book. The attraction between these two can't be denied though. I really enjoyed that Cade made her feel so attractive and happy. The fantasy lists were sexy and lots of fun. I laughed and smiled a lot while reading this book. I can't wait to see what comes next for this series. I'm guessing we are going to get the sisters story next and I'm excited to see where it goes.

Awesome read! Very well written with great characters. Sizzling hot sexy and a wonderful story of a young woman spreading her wings, facing fears, and doing something wonderfully wicked just for herself. After a very rough childhood, Lucia Lewis has scars inside and out. Now she is determined to get past all those with a vacation trip to Vegas. On his way to Vegas to visit family, Cade Daniels is more than happy to look after his best friend's timid and naive sister while she visits Vegas. The woman he finds in Vegas and the woman his friend described are nothing alike. Lucia pulls at his heart like no one else has but is he willing to put it all out there for her? This is one I definitely recommend for everyone!

To Tempt a Seal by Sara Jane Stone is a beautiful story of how circumstances can shape a person's life. Lucia and Cade have been hurt in different ways and are searching for the person to help them heal. They recognize in each other a kindred spirit. Lucia captured my heart with her childlike vulnerability due to events that left her mentally and physically scarred. Scarred, scared and insecure. Despite it all her inner beauty shone through regardless outer flaws. Cade's pain was more hidden but no less acute. As they work through their issues together they start to find acceptance and stability in each other. Received an ARC of this book for an honest review. A sensually satisfying read that will break your heart and have you believing in fairy tales.
