About this ebook

Relishing their newfound feelings for each other, Korra and Asami leave the Spirit World . . . but find nothing in Republic City but political hijinks and human vs. spirit conflict!

A pompous developer plans to turn the new spirit portal into an amusement park, potentially severing an already tumultuous connection with the spirits. What's more, the triads have realigned and are in a brutal all-out brawl at the city's borders--where hundreds of evacuees have relocated!

In order to get through it all, Korra and Asami vow to look out for each other--but first, they've got to get better at being a team and a couple!

Written by series co-creator Michael Dante DiMartino and drawn by Irene Koh (T.M.N.T., Sensation Comics featuring Wonder Woman, Secret Origins: Batgirl, Afrina and the Glass Coffin) and with consultation by Bryan Konietzko, this is the official continuation of The Legend of Korra!

This is definitely a good start to following the Korra cartoons wish they had done these graphic novels as the cartoon. I really liked that Korra and Asami got together they were good as friends and now even better as girlfriends I liked that the storyteller/publisher is being accepting of same sex relationships after all there is nothing wrong with loving someone no matter their gender, hate is the only wrong thing in this world , I look forward to seeing more of this storyline.

Having just finished LoK and becoming an instant fan after a 3 day binge, these comics are a much needed dive into the additional harmonious storytelling-world building the Avatar-verse has shown itself to be. Seeing how Korra and Asami are now walking their path together has given me such joy in reading! This series was so ahead of its time 😁

Not so good writing as instead of a grand adventure we get very pandering sjw story following Korra being gay. Not the clever layered gay either more like they're both perfect Mary Sues that modern writing has started to churn out from trying to be too much on the right side of history. But sacrifices story telling for it.
