Reading Twilight will make you stupid and gay. Reading the Bible will make you stupid, gay AND homophobic, meaning you'll forever live in a state of self-hatred. So at least by reading Twilight, your self-hatred will be restricted to the fact that you've read Twilight as opposed to being aimed at your sexuality and therefore part of your humanity. As a bonus, Stephanie Meyer has never claimed that Twilight is to be understood as the literal truth (or, selectively, where she doesn't like the implications anymore, as a figurative truth) or that failing to adhere to the sometimes arbitrary rules set by your loving, caring neighborhood deity (e.g. eating seafood, kissing a man if you're a man = Abomination! vs. Selling your daughter into slavery, killing somebody working on the sabbath = OK!) will doom you to eternal torment at the hands of said deity. You should really never read Twilight, but if you're ever tempted to read the Bible - read Twilight instead.

Abram (Abraham who begat Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, the blood line to King David, and then onto Jesus) Hagar, worshipped The Egyptian gods. due to Sarai, could not conceive, Abram took this handmaid to bare him his first son, Ishmael. That became the blood line of the Muslim Faith. Their beliefs were that Our Lord Jesus The Christ, was a good Prophet. This was the great chasm before the Great Abyss. The LORD God Almighty Loved the World so very much, that He gave His one and only Son, that who so ever believes .

i dont understand why people believe in the bible when there are other books out there with mythology more believable. it has good poetry but if you told somebody to read this who has never heard of jesus and heaven they would say its a well written CLEARLY fiction book. when people say there is historical proof that it exists, the ONLY thing they can turn to for information is the bible. athiests like me, richard dawkins, bill nye all these guys have scientific KNOWLEDGE over a book.
