Absolute rubbish. I never give up on a book generally, but this was boring, banal and I can use my time better and get more enjoyment watching paint dry! What a huge disappointment after reading the reviews.

Julia Kent, you never cease to amaze me! This just might be the best book yet in your Shopping for a Billionaire series... and that's really saying something! I am so in love with Andrew right now! I do believe he's my favorite McCormick... and that's really saying something too because I love me some Declan. No one can bring a character to life like Julia Kent. She brings such warmth and sincerity and such a sense of realness too her characters. You just can't help but fall in love with them... and laugh out loud with them. This story had me hooked from the first page, and kept me hooked throughout the entire book! I never wanted to put it down... so I just didn't. I read it all in one sitting and I absolutely can't think of a better way to have spent my time. This book is provocative and enchanting and hilarious and intriguing and romantic and positively riveting. I feel like I've been waiting for this book forever! Who wouldn't after reading the beginning of Andrew and Amanda's love story? And then there's the blurb about 4 people waking up in a Vegas hotel room wearing wedding rings, and nobody knew what happened. The aftermath is classic Julia. I couldn't stop laughing! First off, I loved that this book was written in Andrew's voice! He has so much going on in his mind. He's trying to be the strong, infallible CEO and the loving boyfriend. The war that plays out within himself is wonderful and heartbreaking at times. He feels this need to wall himself off so no one sees his emotional side or the weakness he believes loving Amanda shows. In terms of the story, I couldn't get enough! It was a wonderful unfolding of their love story, as well as Andrew's emotional growth. I loved his scene with Shannon. The literary connection to Pride and Prejudice is fabulous. I love the nod to malicious obedience. Great Jessica Coffin scene. I'm glad we got some time with Terry (need more!), too. There is so much that I want to say, but I don't want to give anything away! I can't wait to read more from this series! I received an advanced copy of this book for an honest review.
