Love among the ruins. Tali has spent years studying the Ramessean II era to earn a Blessing as a priestess of Thoth. Now she is helping at a historic site with her father and his Blessed Priest apprentice, Sen. She isn’t usually comfortable around other people, but Sen is different. They enjoy each other’s company and both like history. It isn’t long before history isn’t the only attraction between them. This is a sweet romance wrapped in a new Egypt theme.

Tali, a Priestess of Thoth, is determined to prove herself, so when her father asks her to evaluate some ancient ruins, she jumps at the chance. Sen is Tali's father's apprentice and a builder Priest, and Tali grows closer to him the more time they spend working together. This is a sweet, workplace romance set in an Egyptian Empire. The writing is well done, and the story is a quick read with interesting characters who get their happily ever after. Ruins of Knowledge is book six and a great read

I really enjoyed this story. Huge fan of Ani and Nik and their part of this world but it was fun to read about some of the different gods and what their priests do too. I thought it was especially interesting that Thoth priests or priestesses can be Blessed in two ways on The Day of Choosing like the rest of the new members of the various gods priesthood or by studying and discovery. This is Tali’s journey to a blessing. I think Riaz is a cutie but no lie Matia will always be my favorite blessed
