Investment towards women's capacity building and empowering them to exercise their choice is not only valuable in itself; simultaneously it is also the surest way to contribute to economic growth and overall development of society. The broad objectives of study are to examine the changes of socio economic status of women in Bihar.
About the author
Dr. Rajiv Kumar Jha has completed M.A, LL.B and Ph. D from T.M.B.U, Bhagalpur (Bihar). He has published numerous articles in reputed journals. At present he has been working as an Assistant Professor in Sociology at Mahila College, Godda (S.K.M.U, Dumka), and Jharkhand.
