About the author
I've loved stories all my life. I can’t remember a time when I didn't have a book in my hand. But even I have to put the books down sometimes!
As well as writing, I am a teacher and private tutor of Maths, English, French and Spanish. I love helping people learn, discover their strengths and reach their potential. I'm also a languages geek – always trying out new languages to add to the ones I already speak.
I live in a lovely little house in England with my husband. We don't have children or pets, but we do have a beautiful garden full of wildlife - lots of squirrels making us laugh with their antics, goldfinches filling our cherry tree and a family of foxes.
Although we live right in the middle of England, I love to be at the seaside. Sitting on a sandy beach, listening to the crashing waves, is when I feel most at peace with the world.
I use technology for my work but I love writing and receiving old-fashioned handwritten letters, and I have pen-friends all over the world.
