I have read a number of books by this author. I loved this one just as well. What I like is that the story line pulls you in. It is one of those books you want to keep reading to find out what happens next. And before you know it you have read the whole book. This is really a story about friendship first, which over time develops into something more. Parker and Ben have been friends for years. After Parker’s boyfriend breaks up with her, she decides she wants to be like Ben. She wants to go out and just have casual sex. She doesn’t want it to mean anything. But something her mother said makes her realize she wants to have sex with her best friend. However, always in the back of their minds, is when the sex stops can they go back to being friends. While there was a bump in the road, best friends can remain friends even if sex is involved. There is very little cursing and the sex scenes are tastefully done. I also like the fact there is an epilogue. It lets you look into the future and see how things are working out. I think this gives closure. I look forward to reading additional books by this author.

All her books have been amazing I think I've read like 10 of her books and Ive loved them all. She just knows how to get you glued. Like every book has made me feel all kinds of emotions they are so intense! Lol I love them though. Great read !

Absolutely ADORED this book!! It's a sexy, fun, and a friends to lovers trope I love. The banter between Parker and Ben had me hooked right from the beginning and I couldn't put it down until I read the last page. The writing and pace of the book are fantastic as you would expect from this author. Although the storyline has been written many times, this author's humorous twists make it fresh and new. This is a book I would highly recommend.

Lauren Layne is a New York Times bestselling author of contemporary romance novels. Prior to becoming a writer, she worked in e-commerce and Web marketing. In 2011 Lauren and her husband moved from Seattle to New York City, where she decided to pursue a full-time writing career.
