About this ebook

Two declarations of love and a past that won’t set them free.

I had rules. Krystina broke them.

That’s just the way things were.

But that didn’t mean I didn’t want to make her my wife.

She exemplified the triskelion, representing my past, my present, and my future.

Without her, I am nothing.

But then the past returns to rear its ugly head.

As it turned out, I wasn’t the only one with a secret.

Everything I believed is nothing but a lie.

The strangling grip of chaos squeezes until I can’t breathe.

I don’t know who I am anymore.

The only thing I can do is go back to being the man I once was—to the only place where I once knew control.

Alexander was the glue holding my shattered soul together.

This should’ve been one of the happiest times in my life, but the darkness still looms.

I thought I knew the man I committed myself to but more questions continue to arise.

I don’t know if Alexander is who he says he is.

It all happened so fast.

Everything we fought so hard to overcome is threatened in the blink of an eye.

Now I’m faced with a terrible decision: go against Alexander in order to save him or sit idly by and watch as his world shatters around him.

No matter my choice, it could destroy the very thing our relationship was built on.

The heart-wrenching and seductive story of Alexander and Krystina continues with Set In Stone, the powerfully moving third book in The Stone Series.

Dakota Willink has given us a wonderfully believable storyline that spanned this 3 book series and kept you laughing, crying, and shouting at characters that feel like friends. Characters and stories are very well written and with emotion. With plot twists, and surprising villains. The super-hot chemistry between Alex and Krys, keeps you wondering what they will do next. The revelation of Alex’s haunting past will take you on a rollercoaster ride with a twist that will surprise you. Set in Stone is the end of this series and feels like saying good-bye to a close friend. I'm living in the belief and hope that there will be a spin-off series with Ally and Matteo. This is a series to get you hooked on the writing of Dakota Willink. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

The story of Alex and Krystina continue in the third book of the Stone Trilogy. This is a continuation of their hot and steamy relationship as they navigate the obstacles life is throwing at them and his internal struggle with his past. The erotic and explicit sex scenes are woven expertly into the storyline. This story has much more raw emotions exposed and the character’s personalities continue to develop.I found this story touched me emotionally much more than the previous books.. This book nicely wraps up the loose ends from the previous books giving the reader a sense of completion. I found it an amazing ending to a great series. Alex and Krystina finally get their conclusion and what a wild ride it is. Secrets are revealed, trust is broken, and their love is tested. I was on the edge of my seat trying to turn the pages quickly because I needed to know how they were going to survive this. You need to read the first two before this one but you won't be disappointed.

About the author

Dakota Willink is an Amazon International Bestselling Author who loves writing about alpha males who fall in love with sassy and independent females. She is a member of Romance Writers of America and a two-time Readers’ Favorite International Book Awards winner.

Dakota’s love affair with reading and writing began when she was in the sixth grade. Competitive by nature, she was determined to win a reading contest and blitzed through every Sweet Valley High book she could get her hands on. As a result, she discovered her love for words. Since then, she dreamed of one day writing her own book, but put her aspirations on hold to focus on family and a career that would pay the bills. However, her heart continued to be with fictional characters – whether they belonged to a favorite author or if they were just stories that she made up in her own head.

In 2013, Dakota gathered enough courage to turn her dreams into a reality. In between playing chauffeur to two very busy teenagers and working her job during the day, Dakota began to put words on paper. By 2014, she gave up the security of a steady paycheck and began working on her first novel full-time.

Dakota often says she survived her first publishing with coffee and wine. She’s an unabashed Star Wars fanatic and still dreams of one day getting her letter from Hogwarts. She enjoys spending time with her super-supportive husband and two witty teenagers, her two Labrador Retrievers, and her spoiled rotten cat. During the summer months, she can often be found soaking up the sun on the Great Lakes with her family.
