Strong female lead and a good supernatural modern day story with a gritty reality.

I usually don't read a book with a female lead, don't like teen angst and perversion, this has none of that although Clarissa has a love 💕 interest, she's a grown female cop who lost her parents, she has a rival, and now a series of vampire murders she has to deal with, she is a likeable character, the kind of protagonist that you can root for, it's well written

I absolutely love the main character!
