Bob Dylanin Nobel-palkinnon arvoiset sanoitukset löytyvät vain tästä upeasta teoksesta sellaisina kuin hän on ne itse tarkoittanut. Mukana Hectorin suomenkielinen esipuhe.
Nobel-komitean mukaan Bob Dylan "loi uutta runollista ilmaisua suureen amerikkalaiseen lauluperinteeseen". Nykyajan klassikot, kuten "Like A Rolling Stone", "The Times They Are a-Changin'" ja "All Along The Watchtower", ovat jättäneet lähtemättömän jäljen monen kuuntelijasukupolven sieluun. Populaarimusiikin historia voidaankin jakaa aikaan ennen ja jälkeen Bob Dylanin.
Tähän upeaan kirjaan on koottu Dylanin kaikkien albumien sanoitukset aina varhaisvuosilta viimeisimpään albumiin. Dylan on tarkistanut sanoituksensa tätä teosta varten ja muokannut kymmenien laulujen sanoja. Lisäksi mukana on monia vaihtoehtoisia versioita ja levylle päätymättömiä sanoituksia.
Suomenkielinen laitoksen esipuheen on kirjoittanut Hector eli Heikki Harma. Harman teksti on suomeksi ja Dylanin sanoitukset alkuperäisessä asussaan englanniksi.
Bob Dylan syntyi Robert Allen Zimmerman -nimisenä Minnesotan Duluthissa 24. toukokuuta 1941.
What if, around Valentine’s Day, their paths would come to cross once more?
It has been months since Elizabeth last saw Mr. Darcy. Despite her sister’s recent engagement to Mr. Bingley, the gentleman in question has hardly been seen around Hertfordshire—much to Elizabeth’s disappointment. The man has haunted her thoughts for the past months and when she discovers that Mr. Darcy is the one behind her sister’s impending happiness, her conscience demands that she apologise to the man for her crude behaviour. Determined to make everything right by Mr. Darcy, Elizabeth decides to send him a Valentine—a secret letter of her appreciation.
It is slightly out of place and more than a bit inappropriate as they are not betrothed, but what could possibly go wrong with an innocent Valentine?
Mr. Darcy’s Valentine is a sweet, clean romance novella centering around our dear couple, Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy. Suitable for all lovers of Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice.
In recent years, this information has also reached the decision-makers, who are hungry for economic growth. A discussion has started about de-coupling, about disconnecting economic growth from the increased use of natural resources and increased greenhouse gas emissions. But how to achieve an actual, not just relative, decrease in the amount of emissions without having to give up our current level of well-being? How to avoid the way of prohibitions and obligations but yet maintain at least an average standard of living and possibly even increase economic equality?
Regardless of 20 years of research and work with environmental and economic issues, I have not come across many applicable, or even theoretically feasible solutions. Even an increase in the resource efficiency of production does not seem sufficient to cap the growth of global greenhouse gas emissions. The sharing economy can, however, provide a parallel solution that goes deeper than technical improvements.
The sharing economy does not have to mean a reduced standard of living — in the sharing economy, natural resources are simply used sparingly. It offers a way to save money by sharing underutilised resources, and the enterprise-oriented will find it bulging with new opportunities. On many occasions, the sharing economy has indeed been considered to be one of the best ways to combine well-being with a functioning and ecologically sustainable economy. Another feature of the sharing economy is that it encourages people to include more communality into their lifestyle, thus offering an opportunity to increase social and mental well-being.
A Fair Share strives to show its readers where the opportunities of the sharing economy and of change lie.

The chosen trail of the first French edition - Paris, London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt - is one of continuously evolving modernity. It outlines a history, which, in one century (1860-1960), completely changed the aspect of our towns and cities and transformed our way of life. The shock has been such that we are still looking for answers, still attempting to find urban forms that can accommodate present day ways of life and at the same time maintain the qualities of the traditional town.
This English edition brings the story forward to the present day and considers the impact of the New Urbanism in the United States, which, over the last decade, has sought to re-establish former relationships within the urban tissue.
