I'm playing catch-up after a long vacation so this review is short. Off the Clock is hot and steamy. I loved the chemistry between Marin and Donovan. He's a hunk with secrets. She's also got secrets and is a very strong heroine. I couldn't put this down once I started it and I can't wait for the next book in this series. Roni Loren's books never disappoint. Shhh - don't tell anyone... I raved about this book so much that my husband read it (he never reads long books but likes short erotic stories) and he loved it, too.

Hide and seek anyone? Let’s find THE ONE. Off the Clock is a departure from Ms. Loren’s predominantly erotic BDSM but not that far. She has a skill at keying into the kinkier aspects of life and putting them on stage for a reader’s imagination to get lost in. Those of you that fear you will miss her BDSM series… have no fear, there is enough here to keep you joyously turning the page at a rapid clip. Ms. Loren is an expert at building tension and excels on delivering when the time is right. Off the Clock and the Pleasure Principle series take place at an upscale elite mental health facility called The Grove. While I at first assumed the book took place in a sex clinic… as in a place with beds where everyone was having sex or something as a form of research or therapy… Well, let’s just say I was wrong, definitely wrong. The Grove facility provides full mental health services. Some of those services may just be cutting edge and experimental. Hence, the elite part of their reputation. Not many can afford the care that no insurance company will cover… only the wealthy and elite. The wealthy also demand the absolute best for their money. The Grove provides the best… Dr. Donovan West. But, The Grove wasn’t meant to be a one-man show. Enter one, Dr. Marin Rush, sex researcher extraordinaire. Just one problem… this born again virgin has a major problem with blushing. She also has a history with one hot as sin Dr. West. When the one and only man she’s ever been with suggests that they desensitize her by indulging her every fantasy… let’s just say wow! Goodbye, every vestige of virginity.
