This book put everything into prospective for me regarding my current relationship. It gave me a deep understanding and appreciation for my significant other "my sweet Jaysen". I have not given him the one thing he has been longing for this whole time which was " Quality Time". I look forward to loving Jaysen the way he needs me to. Thank you SO much and a job well done to the author Gary Chapman. I am looking forward to a happy and healthy relationship with Jaysen :) ♡BJ

I have heard many good things about this book and finally was able to read it. This book was everything I expected and more! Throughout our relationship my husband and I have discussed how important it is to him that I do "chores" around the house. Before reading this book, I did not understand that it is more than important to him. He does not require acts of service only to please him and to be happy; I now know that my acts of service actually show him my love for him! My primary love language is quality time. Before I read this I did not understand why quality time does not mean the same thing to my husband as it does to me. I didn't understand why if the house is a mess and I didn't do any type of cleaning today, he didn't want to take me out to a nice dinner. I am greatful to have read this and to now have this insight into both my husband and myself that will only improve our marriage!

This book not only help me identify my husband's love language but my son's as well. At first I was sad for not having come across this book sooner, but then realized that it is better late than never. Also, since love comes in many forms, it serves as a useful tool for communicating with family and friends. So useful that I gave a copy to my niece Emily before she got married, two other couples, and even a single mother.
