About the author

Marcus Medina (b. Marcus Smith) is the sole author of Yscariot™. Marcus was born, raised, and educated in Dallas, Texas. In 1998, he drafted his novel about the life of a child-turned-superhero. After serving eight years in the United States Marine Corps, he went on to earn both an Associates in Arts at Brookhaven College and a Bachelor's Degree in Arts in Historical Studies at The University of Texas at Dallas. He is currently working on promoting his novel while teaching on Jeju Island in South Korea. Gladys "Rin" Betiles joined Marcus' imprint "X'el Studios" as the collaborating and primary artist for the story.
