I recently found out that William Still is my fourth or so Great Uncle on my Father (Wendell P. Chase Sr.) side of the family through his Mother, my Grand-Mother (Francis Wright-Chase) I am eager to learn more of my family history and meet some of my decendents of the Still family. I plan on attending the annual family reunion this year 2011. Thank's to my fathers sister Mildred Chase-Carney of Philadelphia, I now have a wonderful starting place and my son Ja'quan Smith and I will know my family history. I am bias to this book because it is my family, so therefor this book is an excellent read to me. I now know where I get my love for writing, orginization and music from, I also now see where me and my late sister Yvette (vetta) Chase-Bowie (Gaul) get our rather large nose from. Excellent book for reading actual stories of escaping enslaved Africans on the UGRR.
