About this ebook

"I rest my head against him, and he kisses my hair repeatedly. This is home. He smells of linen, fabric softener, bodywash, and my favorite smell—Christian. For a moment, I allow myself the illusion that all will be well, and it soothes my ravaged soul."

Daunted by the singular tastes and dark secrets of the beautiful, tormented young entrepreneur Christian Grey, Anastasia Steele has broken off their relationship to start a new career with a Seattle publishing house.

But desire for Christian still dominates her every waking thought, and when he proposes a new arrangement, Anastasia cannot resist. They rekindle their searing sensual affair, and Anastasia learns more about the harrowing past of her damaged, driven and demanding Fifty Shades.

While Christian wrestles with his inner demons, Anastasia must confront the anger and envy of the women who came before her, and make the most important decision of her life.

A must read such a beautiful love story and full of excitement. But I hate Ana. While I understand she is young and inexperienced, she is very CHILDISH. Like how many times does your boyfriend, friend, or otherwise have to explain something to you before you get it! She is the most Annoying character in this book. Overall, I love all three of the books and would recommend anyone to get it.

So I finally forced myself to read this book. I really don't understand all of the hullabaloo regarding this series. FORCED being the operative word here. Forced my self to read it, and after starting it forced myself to finish it. One of my friends put it perfectly, it's a BDSM fanfiction of the Twilight series. I am not a fan of the Twilight series so this should have been a good indicator however she did not tell me it until after I was halfway through. But everyone has made such a fuss I figured I should give it a whirl. The way this book is written it sounds more from the point of view of a teenage girl. Not a woman who has graduated college and is of the legal drinking age. For me, it was just a very immature book. I do not know much about BDSM but the sex scenes were "flat" in my opinion. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. If someone wanted an erotic book that is a bit kinky and unique I would recommend many other series without ever mentioning this one. There were parts that would make me smirk a little bit, the banter between the two characters is entertaining but the story-line does not make up for it. In my opinion, not worth reading.

I said the first one wasn't the worst thing I ever read read, well this one was the worst thing I've ever read without a doubt. I have never started a book and not finish it, until now. I managed to suffer through half of it before finally giving up. As the "plot" continued, Grey's behavior went further and further down the path to flat out abuse and a has a lack of tact and respect for Steele and her wishes. Grey is as unlikable as they come and Steele isn't too far off from being just as unlikable.
