I knew I was going to love this couple!! Elora and Zendyor are complete opposites. He's an explosion waiting to happen and she's the fire extinguisher! Loved this 3rd book in this series of Dragons and alphas and the omega who bring them to their knees!! Elora is so sweet and calm and always making everyone around her happy. Zendyor is cranky and angry and so is his dragon, but Elora has the magic touch. Once again, Zoey transported me to this magical world with her detailed and amazing words. If you love fantasy and top notch world building, grab this whole series!!

I received an ARC of this book for my honest review. Zoey Ellis is an instant buy author for me ever since I received an ARC of Myth of Omega. This is the third installment of her new series The Last Dragorai. Within these pages, we find Elora's and Zendyor's love story. Due to the circumstances of how Elora got to her brother's lair, she now must go to Zendyor's as she broke the rules. Elora is forced to figure her way out once more in a new lair while not having a role. Zendyor's love for rules is deeply shown in how the lair is run. As the book progresses, we see Zen slowly learn to trust Elora more and come to the realization of their relationship.

I enjoyed this book. It is the third entry in this ongoing series and it can be read as a standalone. That being said, I think you will get a better experience and more pleasure from it if you read this series from the beginning. I really felt the tension, intensity and darkness increased with this book, which I liked and a few other differences that I didn't. The overarching story continues to unfold but we don't make much headway. This book really centers on the story of Elora, Zendyor and his dragon Yorgynel. I liked Elora and I found myself fiercely intrigued by the brutal Zendyor. His rage, his sharp edges and his darkness enticed me as much as they repelled me. Quite honestly, my feelings about him are so complex, that even now I'm not certain exactly how I feel about him. I can say I didn't hate him but sometimes he was very unlikable. All in all though, this was a gripping read that kept me entertained. This is my volitional, candid review.
