Ratings and reviews

Good book, a bit wordy, confusing with all the names etc involved with the murders, still not sure I understand it fully. Seems silly all the work the FBI did was speculative, sitting round talking all the time even without new evidence to back up their theories and a lot of repetitive encounters between the characters. I don't think they had much depth at all. Overall it was worth a read.

Had many interesting and unusual plot twists and believable characters. Could have a bit more depth to it, maybe giving some background to side characters. I wondered what happened with the old agent who showed up to help with the case. I know he was on the original case, but I expected him play more in the outcome. I very much liked the main characters. They were well developed and true to themselves. Excellent plot, I never guessed who did it until near the end.

I didn't finish this book as I got tired of reading about each of the 4 main characters taking verbal shots at each other. They are supposed to be professional FBI agents who need to work together to solve the case but I didn't like the constant verbal insults. It detracted from the actual mystery.
