About this ebook

The first book in Richelle Mead's New York Times bestselling Bloodlines series

When alchemist Sydney is ordered into hiding to protect the life of Moroi princess Jill Dragomir, the last place she expects to be sent is a human private school in Palm Springs, California.

Populated with new faces as well as familiar ones, Bloodlines explores all the friendship, romance, battles, and betrayals that made the #1 New York Times bestselling Vampire Academy series so addictive--this time in a part-vampire, part-human setting where the stakes are even higher and everyone's out for blood.

I started reading VA and when I finished it, it was one of those moments where I wondered what I was going to do with my life. And then Bloodlines came out and my life had purpose again.

I read vampire academy when it came out and had silver shadows pre ordered and when that came out read it in about 3 hours. I'm curious though as to whether or not the series will elaborate on whether or not they figure out why previous strigoi can't turn again and what saves them since they veered off the path of the "cure"

I loved the "Vampire Academy" series because of the mixture between action and drama. There was never a dull moment. In the "Bloodlines" series I can tell that there will be that same mixture with a twist of mysteriousness. I have only read the first book, but I am excited to embark on this journey. I anticipate that the series will be about the main characters' journey of finding her place in her world. My relation to that is what makes my excitement grow larger.
