This is a short enjoyable story about Rana, an alien, who’s trying to organize a Thanksgiving Day celebration for the Colony’s first anniversary, and Byron, an Earth rancher who is determined to protect his ranch and his calf (that’s right, just one). The attraction is there, and the desire, but what isn’t there is time to do something about it. Rana is BUSY. But when the party is over, hopefully a rousing success, she will have the whole weekend free. What will this Cowboy and Alien do with all that time and where will it lead? I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

I received a free book and the views and opinions are my own. This is a fun story about living on a new planet and trying to make up a grand holiday to celebrate surviving a full year. Rana has to find meat to serve at her thanksgiving feast, Bryan needs to save the one and only cattle he has left. This is when the fun starts with a misunderstanding. An easy read that makes you laugh, just what is needed right now. I would recommend this book.

This is a very erotic Thanksgiving story. There was only one cowboy and one alien and one calf, but that was enough for an engaging, enjoyable, erotic Thanksgiving story. This follows the theme of the Colony series where seemingly incompatible people somehow get together and fall madly, desperately, completely in love with each other. The cowboy and the alien had lots to be thankful for, brought together by a quirky idea for a Thanksgiving event that required enough beef to feed the entire Colony. At least, those whose metabolisms could handle beef and whose taste could enjoy it. The alien had the idea, the cowboy had the only calf to supply the beef. When the celebration was over, the cowboy and the alien had their own personal celebration as the climax to the story.
