Ratings and reviews

I really enjoyed this conclusion to the series. And it really is best read as part of the series, since there’s an overall element of suspense that’s carried through all three books and we spend a lot of time with the characters from the previous two. I liked Scott and Lucy. They’re a little bit star-crossed lovers, though that’s mostly by Scott’s choice. I found their story to mostly be about being true to the heart of yourself and pursuing the passions that inspire you. While the conclusion to the mystery left me laughing, I also felt like there wasn’t a big enough payoff for the hype that had been created. However, there’s more than enough drama suggested for the cross-over, so now I’m dying to dig into that book. I received a complimentary copy of this book through Booksprout.

This is book three in The Calusa Key series and it is Scott and Lucy's story. Lucy has strong feelings for Scott but she was his agent and she had to put those feelings aside due to working together. Scott is a movie star but after a bit scandal followed him for a while so now he kept away from all the trappings of it all but now he had another problem and that was he had feelings for Lucy and he didn't know what to do with them. Will this work out for Scott and Lucy or will it all end in heartbreak. Wow I really love this book and series so much as the characters and storyline pulled you in right from the first page and I couldn't put it down. Alexis Anne is an amazing author and writer and I can't wait to read the next book in this series and I definitely recommend you read this book and series and you will definitely not be disappointed.
