When our heroine finds a dead body in her fiance's shop, things get off to a bad start. When she finds he has ties to the mafia, things go from bad to worse. This is book seven of the series but it is written as a standalone. While you will be missing some of the background, all the essential bits are covered early on. This is a cozy mystery with a very fashion conscious detective as our heroine. That makes for a very interesting story. Fortunately, the story is well written, easy to read and lots of fun. The cast of characters is diverse and well developed with plenty of different personalities to keep this interesting. The plot moves along at a good pace and includes a nice blend of action and humor as well as a good mystery. All together it makes for a very entertaining read and I look forward to reading more in this series. Highly recommended. . I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout for review purposes.

Someone is Making Offers You Better Not Refuse! This is the seventh book in a series. While I believe that the first 6 should be read in order, this book could easily stand alone. But I still think that the reader would enjoy them more by reading them in order. This is a cozy mystery that deals in fashion. The book is clean, humorous and I would rate it PG. The plot is great with many moving pieces. The mystery unfolds slowly through the story with all the details coming together in a bang-up denouement. I am enjoying binge-reading this series and am going to jump into the next story right now.
