Quirky set for cozy lovers! Amy and Detective Ambrose of the PPD collaborate on cases in this entertaining set of paranormal mysteries. Her over-the-top personality is a perfect offset to his straight-laced professionalism. There is humor, danger, and magic in each book for hours of enjoyable sleuthing. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.

This set contains the first three mysteries in this series. I’ve read books later on so I was excited to see how Amy and Ambrose met and became a crime solving duo! These mysteries are quick reads but the attention to details and the world building is incredible realistic. It was both cool and strange to see the beginning as I’m so used to the relationships as they are later on in the series and here they are just meeting and thus more bumpy for lack of a better word. The quirky characters, and the entertaining story filled with humor, mystery, suspense, and magic make this a great start to a new series.
