Great job, Ms. Croix. Your heroine is enchanting, exhuberant, and very, very human. I'd love for her to be my friend. Therefore I'm thrilled things worked out for her. You tell an engrossing tale, the pacing is brisk, the word choices kept my attention right where it should be, and best of all, you properly conjugate to sink, and to lie (down). All your characters, even the minor ones, are unique -- not one stereotype in the bunch. I can't wait to read more! Thanks for a delightful 4 hours.
