Rico, a rock star, and Maya, a lyrics writter. A purfect match. Maya is a curvy woman who's smart, stubborn, and determined to make it on her own; not using her father's name and influences. Rico is determined to rise above the poverty he came from and make good. Now, if he can get out from under his agent that has an iron clad contract. When Maya runs from him after hearing his agent and him talk about a publicity stunt with Lucy Volkov as his love interest, Rico is lost. He wants his love and muse back. The moment he finds her and realizes she's pregnant with his baby, nothing will stop him from claiming the woman that has his heart. I absolutely loved this story. It's full of realistic raw feelings. I can't get enough of stories like this. Absolutely wonderful.

Maya and Rico’s story is a soulful mix of a fated to be together and split by lies tale. The story is well written and has characters and scenes from other CD Gorri stories mixed in, so if you’ve read any of the Mergers and Acquisitions or Macconwood Pack series you will recognize the places and/or characters. This story stands out on its own merits, but has a feeling of coming home with these characters and places added, and to me that makes the story exceptional. 5✨’s

Sizzling! Their connection is powerful; their love is off the charts! Maya is his soul and his soul sings for her! She is his muse, his obsession, the one woman he cannot live without. Rico is protective, passionate and her hero. Maya sees him and not the rockstar he is, and her lyrics come from the heart. I loved how Balor and Lucy came into the storyline. If you haven’t read their love story, you’re really missing out!
