Ratings and reviews

I'm wondering if I read the same book as other reviewers who loved it. Perhaps I'm too sophisticated to enjoy a featherlight tale crammed with interludes of bodice-ripping quasi-erotica. Personally I'd prefer a plot with credible characters and, if it must have sex in order to sell, at least make it believable. 08.02.2021

The story was so beautiful and I liked the fact it switched between view so that readers would be able to comprehend it from different ends of the spectrum. I cannot wait to purchase the next one .

Wonderful story. Loved that I could truly imagine each scene. A few areas of confusion. One area was regarding the date Sam was making notes in her leather notebook, she wrote: 4/24, then Sam had a statement saying today is April Fools day in a later chapter. The other area was the type of salad that Miss Celia was serving. Mac changed it to pears from peaches. Overall, wonderful book!
