One of the best books on the absurd difference between the Christianity of the Bible and Christianity in Practice. My favorite quote of SK is in prayer found in the intro, "... not that I fall into Grace but make use of Grace." My son's name is Soren, because SK saved me from my dilemma of the Christ in the Gospels and the Christ seen in His body. I read it for the first time 23 years ago and Today it is more important to me now than it was back than. If I could just make everyone read a book it would be this one. It makes my faith one that I do not apologize for, but certainly it has made it something that must be fought with fear and trembling."
