The tale was enchanting, and the plot was different from many of the highland books i lose my self in. I found my self unable to put this one down, and the only thing i would habe changed about this is the son seemed more of an afterthought. If the love he felt for his son was how the author was trying to portray it then the sun should have been more of a Forefront in the book

I got tired of the psychology regarding all the characters had been through. Iain didn't seem as fearless and sharp as the writer wanted us to believe, especially when it came to figuring out who the traitor was.

Decent read, however, too much written about how she felt, so that distracted me as much as books with too much sex. Read it all, but it was boring enough to only rate 3 stars.
