This was a hilarious adventure from start to finish! The short story has the author's usual great world building, writing style and characters; it is easy to read and hard to put down. Our hero Kal is decent, kind and sincere. As well as honest - too honest! Carrie is so patient with him, while he is so good to her. There is an HEA ending, but there are a lot of unanswered questions, so now I really need to read the next book in the series. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This is a short but fun story about aliens looking for brides on earth. Silly but a hoot to read and the mix ups between the alien Spark and Carrie, the human woman he meets are the best thing about this book. This is the beginning of a new “Alien Brides” series that seems to have a bit more of an emphasis on comedy. Lots of fun. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Very quick read so great if you don't have a lot of time. These aliens want a free vacation to Las Vegas.. so pretend to be looking for a wife. Kal, taking the pseudonym Spark, is looking for fun. Carrie is at there for her cousins wedding. Sees his bumbling attempts but instead of helping him, he finds her to be the one he wants. Cute and fun short story. Will be interesting to read the other two aliens and their adventures.
