What a great book to be hankered down with during this world quarantine time! This is a standalone, second chance contemporary romance with some classic LB wit. Hunter and Presley spent some time together and become very close, until Hunter gets a job offer he can’t refuse. It means that his time with Presley comes to an end, and even though it’s not an easy choice, his career needs this helping hand. Ten years later, Hunter is back and discovers deep down, after a flash back, that Presley is definitely the girl he shouldn’t have left behind. So now he is on a mission to rectify his error. Presley and Hunter are an adorable couple and I loved going on their journey discovering some treasures and working out what is most important to them now. Hunter has matured in those ten years away, and it takes Presley some time to fully trust him again. Great new release you don’t want to miss.

Unfortunately, she was right about the heartbreak awaiting her and it’s all down to Mr Armstrong. He’s got his work cut out for him to make things right with the girl he never forgot. Hunter was a sexy, hot guy, but he was a bit of an idiot too. He made some questionable decisions and Presley should have stuck to her guns a bit longer than she did. I loved how it all ended though. Love does redeem us after all.

A fun second chance at love storyline, scavenger hunt style. I really enjoyed Hunter and Presley’s chemistry and flirty banter. This read will keep you guessing and turning the pages for more. Another hit by Lauren Blakely.
