A love story and a seemingly tragedy all rolled into one. Bea is adjusting to life at the Vampire Court well especially since she has some help from Linc. Unfortunately they both know this idyllic period can’t last. With weddings and betrothals, politics and positioning court life is never dull but can be deadly. Beatrice is back and still working on settling in as a vampire and getting to know her new family and court. Of course Linc is helping her and they get close. But a bit of drama occurs, Beatrice and Linc face the fact they are more then friends (yes I knew we saw that coming but the way it went down was cute and funny at the same time). Then the ending came and I need the next one now. I good and clean entertaining story.

Surviving in the Vampire Court Beatrice knows her survival at court depends on knowing its history and politics. Meeting Linc has helped. He shows her the right books in the library to study and helps her read them. As their friendship grows, Beatrice is warned by her cousins not to fall in love. Lord Fallmartin has plans for her betrothal and her wishes won’t matter. This is a sweet falling-in-love romance. I like Pip. I received a free copy but my review is honest and voluntary.
