About this ebook

During a tropical sunset in April of 2007, on the island of Long Boat Key in Florida, I attended a guitar recital in a intimate setting so close to the sea, one could hear the waves in the background. Captivated and inspired, by both the setting and the performance, I wrote "Serenata Del Mar" which is dedicated to the exceptionally gifted guitarist Ana Vidovic.

Rex Willis - Bradenton, Florida - 2008

His original musical (Book, Music and Lyrics) "Worthy Souls" was performed at SCF in June of 2021 with further development and performances under consideration. In the Fall-2022-Spring 2023 Willis will conduct the SCF Orchestra (Bradenton Symphony Orchestra). As an actor, in his second show at the Asolo Repertoire Theatre, Willis, as an under study, did four shows playing the part of Joel in the musical "Knoxville", an absolute thrill as he shared the stage with many Broadway actors! His first season at the Asolo was "Shakespeare in Love", 2018.
