Kenzo is a force to be reckoned with—the degradation that comes out of this man's mouth is downright delicious. I do wish Vivian’s strength matched her snark a bit more, but overall, the book was excellent. I’m highly anticipating the other stories in this series and definitely recommend it! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. I loved the book, reading this book of loyalty, family, spicy, violent, dark mafia romance, deceit, honour, darkness, intense integrity, degradations. When a contract had been drawn up for arrange marriage, Kenzo would remain loyal, Vi, is his other half in equal measures she is also just as loyal and honorable as Kenzo, she matches his ferocity and menace with softness caring passion. I loved how the plot unravels with a few twists and turns.

This wasn't an easy book to read. It had a major trigger for me. But I went into the book knowing that. It was very well written. It definitely brings out strong emotions. I love Kenzo. My heart broke for Vi and all the lies and deceit that she grew up with as well as the abuse. Nobody deserves to go through what she went through. I honestly can't wait for the next book. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
