Vikki Wakefield is an Australian writer based in Adelaide. Her first YA novel, All I Ever Wanted, won the 2012 Adelaide Festival Literary Award for YA Fiction. Her second novel, Friday Brown, won the 2014 Adelaide Festival Literary Award for YA Fiction. Inbetween Days is her third novel. Ballad for a Mad Girl is her next book and won the 2018 Davitt Award for Young adult novel.
