This is where this series ends for me. The storyline was enjoyable up until now, all but the last 5 minutes of this book was basically just a repetition of the previous book from someone else's perspective. Given that the books aren't long enough to warrant the price tag, and there's still another 15 or so books to go, I won't be purchasing any more. I wish I had thought to check the series length and cost before I started, I wouldn't have wasted my money.

So far I've read the first 3 books and I'm enjoying it. I love that there are so many in the series, I was looking for something like this....(edited) So, I wanted to adjust my review a bit. I took 1 star away for this book. I'm not as engaged in Jonah's story. His romance feels rushed. I actually don't think Melanie is right for him and visa versa.

With Melt, the 4th book in the Steel Brothers Saga, we get Jonah's and Melanie's story. It is a rich and complicated relationship. The romance is hot, hot, hot. There is an added component to this part of the series. Jonah is investigating his brother's past and hunting the criminals who changed their lives forever. I am as invested in the mystery as I am in the love story. Melanie, Talon's therapist, has issues of her own that she is trying to resolve. I read this book in one sitting, I couldn't stop until I got to the end. Now to wait until February when the next installment comes out. If you are new to Helen Hardt, read everything-- her entire catalog of books. They are all brilliantly written.
