I read the fire & ice series before kindred & I was looking forward to it. I felt like this 1st book took too long to get to the action. Lingered too much on romance

Excellent! Loved the story. Though I would have liked to read about Cassie and Chris's life before Luther and Melissa showed up to tell them what/ who they are; as well as how the coordinated world wide slaughter of the hunters took place. Perhaps the author wrote or will write a prequel? I am looking forward to reading more about Cassie and Devon. This is a must read book, so pick it up today.

It is an awesome book with the Hunter and the vampire falling in love and then trouble. Great plot intense characters. This is just a very well written book. Don't miss this one!
