About the author

Andrei Schiller-Chan is a voice coach whose diverse professional journey bridges the worlds of voice advocacy, financial technology and corporate leadership, and martial arts. His entry into voice coaching was influenced by his work with the wrongfully convicted, particularly as part of a small team championed by Rubin "Hurricane" Carter to help secure the exoneration of David McCallum, who spent nearly 30 years in prison. Witnessing the impact of losing one’s voice—both literally and metaphorically—Andrei was inspired to develop a unique coaching perspective that empowers individuals to reclaim and refine their voice.

In addition to voice coaching, Andrei is a Senior Software Engineer at Moneybox, a leading Fintech Investment firm in London. His ability to integrate complex systems and foster innovation in financial services reflects the same precision and dedication he applies to his coaching work.

A graduate of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, Andrei draws on interdisciplinary knowledge from anatomy, social sciences, econometrics, and polyvagal theory to explore how voice responds to stress and trauma, with a particular focus on the prison sector.

Andrei’s commitment to understanding the body’s role in expression extends to martial arts. He holds a Purple Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under coach Jude Samuel and has transitioned from an Amateur State Boxer to a certified coach under the mentorship of Pradeep Singh in Melbourne, Australia.

Through his integration of voice coaching, fintech expertise, and martial arts practice, Andrei offers a distinctive approach that merges technical knowledge with a deep understanding of human resilience and expression. His work reflects a commitment to helping others unlock their potential, whether in reclaiming their voice or refining their skills.
