Bob is an Educator, Consultant and Entrepreneur. Bob’s teaching credits include courses in Human Resource Management, Labour Economics, Finance and Budgeting, Business Economics and Student Success, all at Seneca College. He also taught Organizational Behaviour in the University of Winnipeg’s continuing education program in Human Resources. He currently teaches at Conestoga College.
Mr. Delaney has been a guest lecturer and speaker at several colleges and universities. He has also developed and delivered Management Development Training to various audiences using a variety of medians, including live satellite broadcast.
Bob’s academic background includes Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Relations, Human Resource Management, and Dispute Resolution.
Bob has received HR Association sponsored training in the preparation of Knowledge Exam content and conduct of exam prep workshops.

He is a practitioner who has worked in a variety of industries and serves as Managing Partner of Laird & Greer Management Group. L&G is a corporation that specializes in the selection, implementation and strategic and operational integration of human resources information management systems within organizations: payroll, human resources, time and attendance management. Ian also serves as a Director of The Canadian Privacy Institute, an organization that provides training and consulting services regarding the practical application of Canadian privacy law.
After co-authoring three books on Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) he is sole author of the HR Manager’s Guide to Managing Information Systems (Carswell 2014, ISBN: 978-0-7798-5681-7). He was also editor and chief contributor to the 2009 CCH Ltd. 2nd edition, “Privacy in the Workplace” (ISBN: 1-55367-268-2). He has taught the practical application of HRMS at the Centre for Industrial Relations at the University of Toronto, and is a frequent speaker at human resources, payroll and general management conferences in North America and abroad.
Ian Turnbull is a Past-Chairman of the International Association for Human Resource Information Management (IHRIM). He attained his CHRP in 1992 and is a Past-President of the Canadian Council of Human Resource Associations (CCHRA), a Past Chair of CCHRA’s National Standards Steering Committee, and past President of the York Chapter of the HRPA.

I am proud of what Bob and I have accomplished.
