Another great Callaway book! I enjoyed this book from the first page. Barbara's books are such a joy to read. The book had enough suspense that I had a hard time staying put and not skipping ahead to find the answers. I really didn't know how some of the storylines could be happily resolved, but I thought Barbara did a wonderful job of making everything work out well. It's so much fun to read about characters from previous books. I love the way the family stands together and helps each other in times of need. I'm looking forward to the next book!

Dylan is Tori’s older brother, Scott’s best friend. They have been best friends since they were kids and Tori has always has a crush on him even though he is 4 years older. Now they are adults and living their own lives. Tori, an investigative reporter who has just moved back and Dylan a San Francisco Firefighter. They are thrown back into each other’s lives because of explosion that Tori as involved in that Dylan was one of the responding firefighters for. Together they piece together the mystery to solve what is going on. The case makes Tori look into her own deceased father’s past. They have to work together to solve a string of mysterious fires from now and 17 years ago, fires that her own father was investigating. Tori and Dylan find they are falling for each other and Dylan has major reservations about this since Tori is his best friends little sister and little sisters are always off limits. This book will keep you turning the pages from word one until the very end with all of the twists and turns. I couldn’t put it down I had to find out what happened next and did Tori find all the answers her and her father were looking for? I won’t tell but you should read to find out….

ONCE YOU'RE MINE Calloway Cousins # 4 by Barbara Freethy. Tori has returned to S F to work at the .Bay Area Newspaper; feels like someone is always watching her. Seeing a man, like the homeless she is reporting on, watching her. She follows him into a building, next she is thrown outside. Dylan a firefighter with San Fransisco was on duty, when call came in, that involved Tori, his friend Scott sister. Billfold at the scene ID of her father, who died 17 years ago. A note left on her car " stop asking questions" . Doesn't make any sense, she's just writing about the homeless, the fire was an abandoned building. The body in the fire had a bullet, a lot of questions now being asked. A Calloway wedding, a lot of memories, will there be one for them. He was older, didn't notice her then, does he now, Another enjoyable read about family, and new beginning. All will enjoy, characters are as you already know them. Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion.
