I have read almost everything Cussler has written and found this one lacking as was The Bootleggers. Time to get back to the sea. Hoping Ghost Ship will be better. Next to Dirk, Kurt is my favorite.

Ahh, for the days when my favorite authors wrote original stories, rather than wheeling out well-worn formulas. Good, but seen before.

Could not put it down. Bell does it again!

Clive Cussler is the author of more than fifty books in five bestselling series, including Dirk Pitt, NUMA Files, Oregon Files, Isaac Bell, and Fargo. His life nearly parallels that of his hero Dirk Pitt.
