World famous actor Jay West could’ve chosen any woman in the world to fall in love with, but he chose Sonja Hester. But when a big mistake comes back to haunt Jay, the possibility of a Hollywood scandal threatens to ruin him and the woman he loves.
I didn't know what I wanted out of life, and certainly not in a man. But all of that began to change the morning I spilled coffee all over a stranger's cashmere coat.
His name was Nolan Patrick.
Little did I know he was my new boss. Rumor had it he was a hard-nosed stiff. But they left out the part about him being so gorgeous that one glance could send you into a heavenly daze. One thing led to another, and soon enough I was discovering his heart of gold while becoming his only desire.
Then something beyond our control happened, which sent our budding romance into a tailspin. I thought we walked away from each other for good. But months later, here I am, staring into his intense eyes.

It has been more work than play for Clarity and Baron but just when they are about to make up for lost time Baron goes missing. Clarity is sure she saw the face of the culprit, which means their dilemma can only go from bad to catastrophic. On top of that, a new vampire has crawled out of the woodwork and he shares a special bond with Clarity—and Baron. Thus starts the ticking clock. The search leads Clarity and her sisters to the land of the Sirens, but nothing is as it seems in this universe. The search ensues. Before it’s all said and done, who will end up saving whom?
Here’s what I’m willing to admit—I no longer feel comfortable alone. I’ve become used to a house full of sisters and Selells. I already miss Baron and Fawn, and Zill and Vayle—who I’ve known the longest—and Glo, Finn, and Tapeetha, who I’ve only recently gotten to know.
The sound of my footsteps in my black knee-high boots is unnerving. I must get back to the Estate, where I’ll immediately consult the script. If Felix is focusing on finding Adore, then I must focus on bringing back the sun. There has to be a way.

We’ve just discovered humans who have had their blood consumed by vampires. The grave issue is that they are in a strange coma and the Selells, or vampires, did not die.
“A Selell dies if he drinks a human’s blood without consent. That’s the law,” Derek, Zillael’s Wek, says as if what I just told him can’t be true.
“But Jake’s not dead, right?” He’s all Zillael is worried about at the moment.
“Not technically,” I say.
“Then we have to save him. We can still save him, can’t we?”
At this moment, I have zero answers. This is all new to me, and I’m wondering where Lorenzo is. Isn’t it his job to help provide me with answers? There’s only one source I can reference at this juncture.
“Maybe the script can provide some answers,” I say with a sigh. “Because if vampires can suck the blood from humans and live, then something has definitely changed.”
We all stand in silence, looking from one person to the next. Humans easily fed upon by vampires? As I stand here, for some reason gravity feels stronger, the air stiffer, and the world more dangerous.
"Light Speed," a novel featuring Adore a Navi before they enter the main plot, is also included.
